Psychodynamic Psychotherapy for Children, Teenagers, Young Adults and Parents in Central London

A space to think, understand and change.

Sometimes what brings you here is easy to name. You may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, depression, relationships, self-esteem, identity, or a period of change or uncertainty. Other times, it is harder to put into words, a quiet sense that something doesn't feel right, or of feeling different in ways not always visible to others.

Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to work it out alone.

Psychotherapy offers a space to talk, to be understood, and to think together about what you're going through. Over time, we can begin to understand these difficulties from different perspectives and think about what might help things feel different.

Difference, identity, and belonging

I have a particular clinical interest in difference and identity, and in how these shape a person's emotional life, relationships and development.

Difference often becomes woven into a person's identity and can leave an unspoken sense of being outside, excluded, or fundamentally unlike others, even when this is not immediately visible, as can be the case with neurodivergence.

Racism, religious discrimination, homophobia, misogyny and other forms of discrimination and exclusion can become woven into a person's sense of who they are. Sometimes these experiences are explicit; at other times they are harder to name, but no less present.

Therapy offers a space to think about how these experiences have shaped you, your emotional life and your relationships.
